The Greater Latrobe Wildcats basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Quaker Valley Quakers to 47 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kiski Area for a WPIAL 5A 3 contest on Friday, January 27. Greater Latrobe will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 69-38 non-league win over Knoch (Saxonburg, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-9.

The Quakers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Wild Cats enter the WPIAL 4A 4 contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, East Allegheny was nudged by Freeport (Freeport, PA), 76-56, in a non-league contest.
