January 24, 2023: Sylvan Grove, KS 67481 The Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS) basketball felled the visiting Miltonvale Warriors (Miltonvale, KS), 57-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] (Miltonvale, KS). The Warriors go into the Northern Plains test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] thwarted Wilson (Wilson, KS), 41-39, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Thunder Ridge for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Miltonvale will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 64-45 non-league win over Pike Valley (Scandia, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-3.
