Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) and the host Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD), saw More's basketball squad knock off Spearfish by a tally of 55-42.

With the victory, More improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to play the Comets in a A Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 12-0. Rapid City Christian won 81-67 in their recent league challenge against Custer (Custer, SD)

Next up, the Spartans play the Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD) in a AA challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Spearfish will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Cobblers come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 64-31 league loss to Watertown (Watertown, SD).
