North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont Classical overwhelms Varsity Opponent
January 24, 2023: Browns Summit, NC 27214 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) and the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), saw Piedmont Classical's basketball squad wallop Varsity Opponent by a tally of 100-60.
With the victory, Piedmont Classical improves its record to 25-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Fighting Pharaohs in a CAASC Greater Piedmont challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Fighting Pharaohs come into the challenge with a record of 18-7. Quality Education Academy won 70-57 in their recent non-league challenge against HA Prep Academy (Durham, NC)
Next up, the confront the Tri-State Christian Crusaders (Elkton, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic Independent challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Varsity Opponent will attempt to improve on its 300-914 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 76-59 non-league loss to Cross Christian Academy (Seaford, DE).
