Massachusetts High School Basketball - Belmont tops Wilmington
January 24, 2023: Wilmington, MA 01887 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA) and the host Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), saw Belmont's basketball squad knock off Wilmington by a tally of 54-44.
With the victory, Belmont improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Marauders host Lexington (Lexington, MA) to play the Minutemen in a Middlesex challenge on Friday, January 27. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 6-1.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Wilmington will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
