Milford Central Wildcats (Milford, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Charlotte Valley Wildcats (Davenport, NY), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Milford Central upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Wildcats host Worcester (Worcester, NY) to clash with the Wolverines in a Section 4 Tri-Valley bout on Thursday, January 26. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 12-1.
