New York High School Basketball - The Park School of Buffalo tops Cheektowaga
January 24, 2023: Buffalo, NY 14226 The Park School of Buffalo Pioneers (Buffalo, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cheektowaga Warriors (Cheektowaga, NY), 40-22 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, The Park School of Buffalo upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Mount St. Mary Academy (Kenmore, NY) to play the Thunder in a Monsignor Martin bout on Thursday, January 26. The Thunder come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Mount St. Mary Academy won 55-50 in their recent non-league bout against Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY)
Next up, the Warriors play the Maryvale Flyers (Cheektowaga, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III bout, on Friday, January 27. Cheektowaga will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Flyers come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 46-18 non-league win over Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY).
