Connecticut High School Basketball - Killingly tops East Lyme
January 24, 2023: Killingly, CT 06241 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT) and the visiting East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT), saw Killingly's basketball squad knock off East Lyme by a tally of 47-33.
With the victory, Killingly improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Redmen host Waterford (Waterford, CT) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Waterford lost 46-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT)
Next up, the Vikings play the Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. East Lyme will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 51-48 league loss to Ledyard (Ledyard, CT).
