The Newell-Fonda Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Emmetsburg E'Hawks to 26 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Central Calhoun for a Twin Lakes contest on Friday, January 27. Newell-Fonda will meet a Titans team coming off a 80-49 league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Titans record now stands at 11-3.
