The High Point Academy Grizzlies routed the visiting Laurens Raiders basketball team by a final score of 71-34 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC) in a A Region 1 game, on Friday, January 27. High Point Academy will attempt to move on its 16-5 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 10-7 record after their 50-29 league win over Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC).

With the defeat, Laurens moves to 2-14 on the year. The Raiders travel to Greer (Greer, SC) to face the Yellow Jackets in a AAAA Region 2 game on Friday, January 27. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a record of 16-6. Greer lost 62-54 in their recent league game against Riverside (Greer, SC)
