January 24, 2023: North East, MD 21901 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host North East Indians (North East, MD), by a count of 67-33.
The Seahawks (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD). The Bruins go into the Anne Arundel County outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Broadneck smashed North County (Glen Burnie, MD), 53-16, in a league outing.
The Indians now hold a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Elkton for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake outing on Thursday, January 26. North East will clash with a Golden Elks squad coming off a 50-29 non-league win over Joppatowne (Joppa, MD). The Golden Elks record now stands at 6-9.
