Nebraska High School Basketball - Sidney overwhelms Torrington
January 24, 2023: Sidney, NE 69162 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sidney Red Raiders (Sidney, NE) and the visiting Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY), saw Sidney's basketball squad wallop Torrington by a tally of 57-25.
With the victory, Sidney improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Chadron (Chadron, NE) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Chadron lost 72-39 in their recent league challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE)
Next up, the Trailblazers play the Rawlins Outlaws (Rawlins, WY) in a 3A Southeast challenge, on Friday, January 27. Torrington will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Outlaws come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 45-32 league loss to Wheatland (Wheatland, WY).
