Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) followers went home happy Tuesday as they observed their basketball team edge the visiting Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), 42-38 in a league match.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) in a match, on Thursday, January 26. Covenant will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 55-15 league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA).
