New Jersey High School Basketball - Henry Hudson knocked off by Point Pleasant Beach
January 24, 2024: Highlands, NJ 07732 The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Henry Hudson Admirals to 43 in the Garnet Gulls league triumph on Wednesday.
The Garnet Gulls now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keyport for a Shore B - Central contest on Friday, January 26. Point Pleasant Beach will battle a Raiders team coming off a 72-49 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 4-8.
The Admirals (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Warren County Tech (Washington, NJ). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Warren County Tech was defeated by Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ), 69-31, in a non-league contest.
