New York High School Basketball - Owego Free Academy topples Vestal
January 24, 2024: Owego, NY 13827 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Owego Free Academy River Hawks (Owego, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Vestal Golden Bears (Vestal, NY), by a margin of 55-40.
The River Hawks (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 4 Southern Tier - Central outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Chenango Valley defeated Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY), 74-66, in a non-league outing.
