California High School Basketball - Benicia tops College Park
January 24, 2024: Benicia, CA 94510 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) and the visiting College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA), saw Benicia's basketball squad knock off College Park by a count of 64-54.
With the victory, Benicia upgrades its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA) to play the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. St. Patrick-St. Vincent won 39-31 in their recent league challenge against Saint Mary's (Albany, CA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 26. College Park will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 55-53 league loss to Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA).
