The Centennial Huskies basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Corona Panthers to 37 in the Huskies league triumph on Wednesday.

The Huskies now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King for a Big VIII contest on Friday, January 26. Centennial will battle a Wolves team coming off a 64-40 league loss to Santiago (Corona, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 19-7.

The Panthers (15-11) will now prepare for their bout against Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Mustangs go into the Big VIII bout with a 17-8 record. In their last bout, Roosevelt overwhelmed Norco (Norco, CA), 84-44, in a league bout.
