New York High School Basketball - Valhalla trounces Edgemont
January 24, 2024: Scarsdale, NY 10583 The Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY) basketball crushed the host Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY), 58-22 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Thornwood, NY). The Wildcats go into the Section 1 Conference 3A test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Westlake walloped Valhalla (Valhalla, NY), 56-38, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Yonkers Montessori Academy for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Edgemont will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Eastchester (Eastchester, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
