With the victory, Mount Vernon improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Nooksack Valley lost 52-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Lyncs come into the challenge with a 14-0 record after their 54-44 non-league win over Sehome (Bellingham, WA).
