January 24, 2024: Max Meadows, VA 24360 The Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) basketball crushed the host Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA), 68-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (15-1) will now prepare for their test against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Fleming walloped William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 56-34, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now own a 13-2 record. They play next when they host George Wythe for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Fort Chiswell will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 63-20 non-league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 9-1.
