The Southwestern Piasa Birds basketball team scored 44 points and held the host North Greene Spartans to 36 in the Piasa Birds non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Piasa Birds now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a contest on Friday, January 26.
