Ohio High School Basketball - Aiken triumphant over Taft
January 24, 2025: Cincinnati, OH 45224 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Aiken Falcons (Cincinnati, OH) and the visiting Taft Senators (Cincinnati, OH), observed Aiken's basketball team overwhelm Taft by a score of 78-55.
The Falcons (14-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Westland (Galloway, OH). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Westland was routed by Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH), 58-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Senators battle the Linden-McKinley Panthers (Columbus, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Taft will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 59-54 league win over East (Columbus, OH).
