New Hampshire High School Basketball - Gilford triumphant over Berlin
January 24, 2025: Berlin, NH 03570 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) and the host Berlin Mountaineers (Berlin, NH), observed Gilford's basketball team overwhelm Berlin by a score of 57-12.
The Golden Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Belmont (Belmont, NH). The Red Raiders come into the Division III challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Belmont trounced White Mountains (Whitefield, NH), 79-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Berlin will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 55-48 non-league win over Winnisquam (Tilton, NH).
