The Blue Ridge Barons basketball squad (St. George, VA), was nudged 77-71 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Huntington Expression Prep Kings (Huntington, WV)

With the victory, Huntington Expression Prep advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Kings travel to Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 16-1. Mt. Zion Prep Academy won 63-35 in their recent non-league battle against Arts (Newark, NJ)

The Barons now own a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Hill Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. Blue Ridge will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 73-69 non-league win over Mt. Zion Baptist (Baltimore, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 15-4.
