Indiana High School Basketball - Wheeler succumbs to Calumet New Tech

In Friday's league test, the Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN) basketball squad defeated the visiting Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN), by a final score of 54-46.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Calumet Christian Patriots (Griffith, IN) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 3. Calumet New Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 4-14 record after their 51-45 non-league loss to Heritage Christian (Dyer, IN).

The Bearcats (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Hebron (Hebron, IN). The Hawks come into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Hebron went down by South Central (Union Mills, IN), 62-57, in a league test.
