January 24, 2025: Birmingham, AL 35210 Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Center Point Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 69-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Shades Valley upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Mounties travel to Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL) to face the Stampede in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Stampede enter the match with a record of 19-6. Paul W. Bryant won 61-49 in their recent league match against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL)
The Eagles now sport a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tarrant for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Center Point will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-63 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-6.
