Connecticut High School Basketball - Haddam-Killingworth can't hold off Coginchaug Regional
January 24, 2025: Higganum, CT 06441 Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT), 60-56 in a league match.
With the victory, Coginchaug Regional advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Blue Devils host Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT) to face the Rams in a Shoreline match on Tuesday, January 28. The Rams enter the match with a record of 2-5.
The Cougars now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Branford for a Shoreline match on Tuesday, January 28. Haddam-Killingworth will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 51-40 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 7-4.
