January 24, 2025: Bellevue, NE 68123 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE) and the visiting Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), observed Cornerstone Christian School's basketball team overwhelm Whiting by a margin of 66-16.
The Cougars (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Omaha Christian Academy was trounced by Conestoga (Murray, NE), 55-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Parkview Christian Patriots (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Whiting will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE).
