January 24, 2025: Fort Cobb, OK 73038 The Cyril Pirates (Cyril, OK) basketball were winner over the host Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs (Fort Cobb, OK), 56-47 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Binger-Oney for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Cyril will play a Bobcats team coming off a 97-26 non-league win over Mountain View-Gotebo (Mountain View, OK). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-1.
With the loss, Fort Cobb-Broxton falls to 9-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Hinton (Hinton, OK) to play the Comets in a Freelance bout on Saturday, January 25. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Hinton won 58-51 in their recent non-league bout against Apache (Apache, OK)
