January 24, 2025: DeForest, WI 53532 DeForest Norskies (DeForest, WI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Edgewood Crusaders (Madison, WI), 74-60 in a non-league match.
With the victory, DeForest upgrades its record to 4-11 on the year. The Norskies travel to Columbus (Columbus, WI) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 5-9. Columbus lost 93-47 in their recent league match against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI)
The Crusaders now sport a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host McFarland for a Badger - Small match on Thursday, January 30. Edgewood will face a Spartans squad coming off a 78-51 non-league loss to Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 8-5.
