Connecticut High School Basketball - Trumbull knocks off Greenwich
January 24, 2025: Trumbull, CT 06611 In Friday's league contest, the host Trumbull Eagles basketball team scored a good 54-41 win over the Greenwich Cardinals.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Black Knights come into the Fairfield County contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Stamford was topped by New Canaan (New Canaan, CT), 53-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) in a Fairfield County contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Greenwich will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record.
