Texas High School Basketball - Queen City defeats New Boston
January 24, 2025: Queen City, TX 75572 The Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX), 44-29 in Friday's league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Redwater for a 3A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Queen City will play a Dragons team coming off a 59-53 league win over De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 12-17.
With the loss, New Boston falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Lions host Hooks (Hooks, TX) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 15-13. Hooks lost 58-54 in their recent league bout against Atlanta (Atlanta, TX)
