Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN), 42-37 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pioneer advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Panthers host Caston (Fulton, IN) to face the Comets in a Hoosier North match on Friday, January 31. The Comets enter the match with a record of 5-7.

The Trojans now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winamac for a non-league match on Friday, January 31. West Central will face a Warriors squad coming off a 50-48 non-league loss to Delphi Community (Delphi, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 9-6.
