Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Louis Catholic holds off Washington-Marion
January 24, 2025: Lake Charles, LA 70601 The St. Louis Catholic Saints basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Washington-Marion Charging Indians to 46 in the Saints non-league triumph on Friday.
The Saints now have a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a 3A District 3 game on Friday, January 31. St. Louis Catholic will confront a Rams team coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, LA). The Rams record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Washington-Marion falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Charging indians host Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA) to confront the Trailblazers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Trailblazers go into the game with a record of 17-4. Lake Charles College Prep won 63-48 in their recent non-league game against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA)
