In Friday's league contest, the visiting Albany Falcons basketball team scored a big 85-10 triumph over the Schenectady Patriots.

The Falcons (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 2 Suburban contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake was trounced by Troy (Troy, NY), 47-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Colonie Central Wolfpack (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Schenectady will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Wolfpack go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 54-47 league win over Averill Park (Averill Park, NY).
