January 24, 2025: Gilford, NH 03249 In Friday's league test, the Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) basketball squad defeated the visiting Berlin Mountaineers (Berlin, NH), by a final score of 48-40.
Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Belmont Red Raiders (Belmont, NH) in a Division III test, on Tuesday, January 28. Gilford will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Red Raiders come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 44-36 league loss to White Mountains (Whitefield, NH).
The Mountaineers (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Bears come into the Division III test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Newfound Regional went down by Winnisquam (Tilton, NH), 53-39, in a non-league test.
