In Friday's league test, the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO), by a score of 66-50.

Next, the Golden Eagles encounter the Highlands Ranch Falcons (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental test, on Tuesday, January 28. Mountain Vista will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 13-2 record after their 76-23 league win over Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO).

The Sabercats (5-11) will now prepare for their test against ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Grizzlies come into the 6A/5A Continental test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, ThunderRidge was knocked off by Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 60-35, in a non-league test.
