January 24, 2025: Clay Center, KS 67432 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS) and the visiting Holcomb Longhorns (Holcomb, KS), observed Clay Center's basketball team knock off Holcomb by a score of 52-33.
The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Remington (Whitewater, KS). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Remington prevailed over Eureka (Eureka, KS), 64-60, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Longhorns encounter the Hugoton Eagles (Hugoton, KS) in a Great Western challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Holcomb will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 45-42 non-league win over Kingman (Kingman, KS).
