South Dakota High School Basketball - Sioux Valley overwhelms Dell Rapids
January 24, 2025: Volga, SD 57071 The Sioux Valley Cossacks basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Dell Rapids Quarriers to 34 in the Cossacks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cossacks now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to DeSmet for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Sioux Valley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-34 non-league loss to Hamlin (Hayti, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Dell Rapids falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Quarriers host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Titans go into the game with a record of 9-2. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton won 47-43 in their recent non-league game against Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD)
