South Dakota High School Basketball - Wilmot triumphant over Hankinson
January 24, 2025: Wilmot, SD 57279 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD) and the visiting Hankinson Pirates (Hankinson, ND), observed Wilmot's basketball team overwhelm Hankinson by a score of 54-27.
The Wolves (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD). The Sioux come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Lower Brule trounced Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD), 55-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Sargent County Bulldogs (Milnor, ND) in a B District 1 challenge, on Monday, January 27. Hankinson will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 66-39 league win over Richland (Colfax, ND).
