Oregon High School Basketball - Harper knocks off Prairie City
January 24, 2025: Harper, OR 97906 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Harper Hornets (Harper, OR) and the visiting Prairie City Panthers (Prairie City, OR), observed Harper's basketball team overcome Prairie City by a score of 51-42.
The Hornets (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Adrian (Adrian, OR). The Antelopes come into the 1A High Desert challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Adrian dropped by Huntington (Huntington, OR), 45-38, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Prairie City will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 48-32 league loss to Powder Valley (North Powder, OR).
