Kansas High School Basketball - Hugoton holds off Kingman
January 24, 2025: Hugoton, KS 67951 The Hugoton Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Kingman Eagles to 42 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Holcomb for a Great Western game on Tuesday, January 28. Hugoton will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 52-33 non-league loss to Clay Center (Clay Center, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Kingman drops to 3-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Douglass (Douglass, KS) to face the Bulldogs in a Central Plains match on Friday, January 31.
