The Yutan Chieftains basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Palmyra Panthers to 26 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Louisville for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Palmyra falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 0-16. Wilber-Clatonia lost 52-32 in their recent non-league game against Auburn (Auburn, NE)
