In Friday's non-league test, the St. James Academy Thunder (Lenexa, KS) basketball squad got by the host Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS), by a final score of 66-59.

Next, the Thunder clash with the Eudora Cardinals (Eudora, KS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 25. St. James Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
