January 24, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94109 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), observed Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory's basketball team overcome Archbishop Mitty by a score of 46-31.
The Fightin' Irish (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Riordan dropped by St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 48-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Archbishop Mitty will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 42-23 league loss to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA).
