Florida High School Basketball - Father Lopez nips Legacy Charter
January 24, 2025: Daytona Beach, FL 32124 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Father Lopez Green Wave basketball team scored a close 76-70 win over the Legacy Charter Eagles.
The Green Wave (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against First Baptist Christian Academy (Bunnell, FL). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, First Baptist Christian Academy was tipped by St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL), 55-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Trinity Prep Saints (Winter Park, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Legacy Charter will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 58-45 non-league loss to Lyman (Longwood, FL).
