The Fort Cherry Rangers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting South Side Rams to 52 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rangers now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chartiers-Houston for a WPIAL 2A 2 contest on Friday, January 28. Fort Cherry will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 67-61 non-league loss to Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-9.

The Rams (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Chargers enter the WPIAL 2A 1 contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart nudged Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA), 84-47, in a non-league contest.
