Massachusetts High School Basketball - Lexington trounces Stoneham
January 25, 2022: Stoneham, MA 02180 The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) basketball crushed the host Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA), 79-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Minutemen (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Arlington (Arlington, MA). The Spy Ponders go into the Middlesex test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Arlington was trounced by Melrose (Melrose, MA), 73-61, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Burlington for a Middlesex test on Friday, January 28. Stoneham will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 83-55 non-league win over Westport (Westport, MA). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-4.
