Montana High School Basketball - Powell County overwhelmed by Loyola-Sacred Heart
January 25, 2022: Deer Lodge, MT 59722 The Loyola-Sacred Heart Rams basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Powell County Wardens to 29 in the Rams league victory on Tuesday.
The Rams now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bigfork for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 29. Loyola-Sacred Heart will play a Vikings & Valkyries squad coming off a 49-28 non-league loss to Columbia Falls (Columbia Falls, MT). The Vikings & Valkyries record now stands at 7-5.
Next up, the Wardens play the St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 28. Powell County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 74-70 non-league win over Ronan (Ronan, MT).
