Illinois High School Basketball - Maine East overwhelmed by Neuqua Valley
January 25, 2022: Park Ridge, IL 60068 The Maine East Blue Demons basketball team (Park Ridge, IL), was overwhelmed 71-44 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL)
The Wildcats now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naperville Central for a DuPage Valley battle on Friday, January 28. Neuqua Valley will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 59-56 league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 17-5.
The Blue Demons (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors come into the Central Suburban - North battle with a 5-14 record. In their last battle, Maine West trounced Foreman (Chicago, IL), 55-22, in a non-league battle.
